Hundreds of worshippers attended Sunday's mass in fellowship at St. Catherine Church on Manger Square to celebrate the day of remembrance in the birth of Jesus Christ. Each year hundreds and thousands visit the in the traditional birth place of Jesus. Many of the attendees wore traditional attire of foreign lands. Other worshipped in prayers of praises and songs and hymns. Despite of the rainy day, the record number still came to worship. Many Christians cherish the voyage to the birthplace of Bethelem. Most of Gaza's 3000 Christians celebrate Christmas next month. It is estimated that 60,000 Christians live in Paletine making up less than 2% of the population according to Palestinian officials.
