SOUTHERN SUDAN, NIGERIA
In South Sudan's Jongeli state violence raged to a cease after days long rampage with militia has left thousands dead and 50, 000 people from their homes. Pibor County where most of the violence occured has reported that death tolls numbering over 3,000 were estimated, however there is a claim the number of deaths may have escalated according to the United Nations. The continous markers of death still come from the country's freedom from Sudan in July 2011. The rampage began just before Christmas 2011 when tribes from Lou Nuer took particpating in an scotched earth march aimed at their rival the Murle Tribe and excelled in with three villages being destroyed from clashes of violence. The rampage has ceased, but many have loss lives and fleed to save themselves for terror and death of the militia.
