(Need responses from females... Please help) Doing research for a book idea. (436 hits)

Alright ladies, I'll get straight into it.

The question is: Would you feel comfortable dating a man who use to live a homos*xual lifestyle?

I need your responses in order to prepare myself for writing a book idea titled "A Change Gonna Come", which is about a (no... I better not, but anyway your assitance is needed).

If you would date a guy who (use) to live that lifestyle, please shoot me a few lines on why you would, (if not) please do the same for the adverse reasons.

I am not trying to pick on anyone but I would like to put you in a certain state of mind.

Examples:

Would you date someone like Donnie McClurkin? (again, not being disrespectful, just simply setting up your state of mind)

Would you date someone like Jonathan Plummer (if he was to turn straight) and change his lifestyle completely?

Hi Shakeim, your book definately will show some intrique and interest. Just giving an opinion here on your question, I'd say that from this one woman's viewpoint I wouldn't base my date on his past history of being homos*xual, I would base my date on him because I liked him and would want a relationship to grow into a commitment. You know, most men have secrets and if a woman never knew of a man's past then there you go...You'll hope your relationship would be based on truth and trust, but many times men and or women have done promisious things they really like to keep hidden. If a woman knew beforehand and she really cared for him, I think there wouldn't be a question of his past. Dating is a game of much like a gamble...there's always secrets and then there's always openess. Each woman may feel differently about dating a once or ex-homos*xual. Most times I think if they would build up and have trust they would stay heters*xual in order for a bonding to develop trusting. But, I feel real adults can appreciate honesty in any relationship involving men and women and their past lives. Good luck on your book.
