Sûrat Al-Anbiyâ’
(The Prophets) XXI
In the Name of Allâah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
1. Mankinds reckoning is always near, while they turn away and live in foolishness.
2. To Mankind comes an admonition of AlQur’âan from their Lord as revelation - but they hear it while they play and do not comprehend;
3. With their hearts occupied with Evil things. Those who do wrong, conceal their private counsel, "Is Mohamed, more than a human being like you? Will you submit to illusion while you see it?"
4. Mohamed said: "My Lord knows every word spoken in the heavens and on earth. And He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower."
5. No, they say: "These revelations of AlQur’ân which are revealed to Mohamed are mixed up false dreams! No, he has invented them! - No, he is a poet!
Then, let him bring us an Ayâh (sign as a proof) like the ones, Prophets before were sent!"
6. Not one of the populations, of those We destroyed, believed before them (though We sent them signs): will they then believe?
7. And We sent not before you Mohamed but men to whom We revealed. So ask the people of the Reminder [AtTaurât (Torah), AlInjeel (Gospel)] if you do not know.
