Newly democracy in Dakar has a surprise winner of it's presidential seat with the acceptance of Macky Sall over Abdoulaye Wade. Senegal is Africa's third oldest, and most stable of decomcracies. Sall defeated Wade and will be inaugrated on April 01, 2012. Wade faced many controversial concerns during his run for this third term which prompted many demonstrators take protests of his running for re-election. In those demonstrations sources from this media source said that at least 6 people perished in riots. Election's day was said to have a more peaceful calm, but there allegations of widespread vote-buying. Once in office Sall who is 50 years old will have challenges fulfulling his campaign promises of reducing price of staple goods and creating jobs for the many youths whom supported to his victory into office. Along with growth needs many experts are troubled he will be able to deliver. One of Sall's plans is to reduce the length of presidential terms from seven years to five years. This would decrease terms in offices so that if a present leader has not made a balance in making his expections come to reality.
