When the Trayvon Martin story began to spiral out of control, “The View” was on hiatus. Now that the ladies are back at the table, Whoopi Goldberg had some choice words for how the media has handled its reporting of the case.
On Monday morning’s show, Joy Behar expressed confusion regarding the 911 call, saying that although experts clearly agree that it wasn’t Zimmerman screaming for help, Behar wondered who else it could be.
Watch video below.
The conversation turned out to be an overall outrage that Martin’s killer had not been charged and that the coverage turned completely sour.
Elisabeth Hasselbeck said Geraldo Rivera was irresponsible in his comments, blaming Martin's choice of clothing for his death.
But Goldberg blamed social media networks for negative reports, insisting that people don’t think before they tweet, as mediaite.com phrased it.
