BlackBlueDog.com--Attorney General Eric Holder reportedly became “incensed” after being accused of complaining about public interference in his office. The accusations came from top Obama advisor David Axelrod, and allegedly led to the two men having to be separated.
“That’s bull****,” Mr. Holder said, according to author Daniel Klaidman.
Klaidman writes, “The two men stood chest to chest. It was like a school yard fight”.
According to the book, Axelrod said, “Don’t ever, ever accuse me of trying to interfere with the operations of the Justice Department.”
Apparently, the kind of interference that Axelrod mentions is taboo in Washington politics. The author claims that the person separating the two was Valerie Jarrrett, a White House advisor. She then ordered the two men to go out into the hallway.
The author claims that when he confronted Holder about the accusation of interfering with Justice Department business, Axelrod said, “I’m not Karl Rove”.
The book investigates President Obama’s support for a CIA-led drone war on al-Qaeda operatives, as well as an alleged “kill list” that the president keeps to take out terrorists without judge, trial or jury. Obama is also alleged to believe that any male of military age near a terrorist site is presumed to be a terrorist as well. This has created outrage among civil liberties groups around the world.
