ONe of the base gates at Beale airforce base had to colse for an hour yesterday. the heavy equipment hist a rock and caused a spark and a fire. The fire was out in an hour. It is juust a blessing our winds weere only 7-10 miles an hourand not the 39 miles of the day before this fire. (smile0

Out where I live we must have a 100ft. no grass zone around our property as a fire safe guard...The rice fields that is on one side of our neighborhood is always full of water which helps. But. here in CA. we can never be too careful when it comes to tryiing not to have wild fires any place in our state it seems.(smile)
