JEREMIAH WRIGHT: AMERICA‘S ELITE COLLEGES INFECT BLACK PEOPLE’S BRAINS WITH ‘WHITE RACIST DNA’ (2967 hits)
It wasn’t your typical Sunday sermon, but then again, Jeremiah Wright isn’t exactly your typical reverend.
Speaking just miles from the White House at the 100th anniversary of Washington, D.C.’s Florida Avenue Baptist Church on Sunday, Rev. Wright accused some of America‘s most prestigious academic institutions of infecting black people’s brains with “white racist DNA,” POLITICO reports.
He started by using the Book of Isaiah and its message of the value of foundational stones as a metaphor, imploring parishioners to teach their children the real African-American history and not the one taught by “our enemies” who “distorts our history, disses our history.” He then reportedly rattled off a list of some of the most important black figures in all of history, including Nat Turner, Emmett Till, Rosa Parks, Paul Robeson, Zora Neale Hurston and others and said their stories must be passed on.
Interestingly, Wright left Martin Luther King, Jr. off the list, The Daily Caller reports. It is unclear whether this was intentional.
“They are the foundation,” Wright explained. “These stones of memory shall serve as a sign among you so that in the future when your children, who only know Oprah and Obama, when our children who speak the language of Nas, 50 Cent, Lil Wayne (Weezy) and Ludacris. When your children ask you who are these people and what do these stones mean, these stones mean, you can tell them what it is that God did to get us from where we were to where we are.”“We need to tell our children… how we got from a black congressman named Adam Clayton Powell to a black president named Barack Hussein Obama,” Wright continued. “But we also need to tell them how we have black politicians who steal money.”
Wright went on to blast some of the country’s top universities for turning black people into “sheep dogs” and “biscuits” – what he calls African-Americans raised in white America. He also warned that attending the schools causes black people to get “that alien DNA all up inside their brain.”
“Take that baby him or her away from the African mother, away from the African community, away from the African experience … and put them Africans at the breasts of Yale, Harvard, University of Chicago, those trinity schools, UCLA or U.C. Berkley. Turn them into biscuits then they’ll get that alien DNA all up inside their brain and they will turn on their own people in defense of the ones who are keeping their own people under oppression,” Wright said.
He continued: “There’s white racist DNA running through the synapses of his or her brain tissue. They will kill their own kind, defend the enemies of their kind or anyone who is perceived to be the enemy of the milky white way of life.”
Keep in mind, Obama himself attended Harvard and Columbia University. It is also unclear whether Wright considers the president to be a “biscuit,“ infected with ”white racist DNA,” but he apparently never came right out and said it.
More from POLITICO:
Though the Obamas severed their ties to Wright and his church in 2008, the preacher has remained an emblem for some conservatives of the extreme views they believe the president has. “The world is about to see Jeremiah Wright and understand his influence on Barack Obama for the first time in a big, attention-arresting way,” said a proposal for super PAC-funded advertising attacking the Obama-Wright connection leaked this spring. But billionaire Joe Ricketts – for whom the proposal had been written – disavowed any interest in going forward with the ads. Mitt Romney also distanced himself. Wright made sure not to waste an opportunity to attack the tea party and suggested that the movement was somehow against the black community.
“This is not a time to romanticize because we have the first African descended president in the White House,” he said. “You see what the tea party is trying to do. This not the time to romanticize or fantasize.”
The Daily Caller reports that Wright also quoted Frederick Douglass, who in his famous 1852 “The Meaning of July Fourth to the Negro” speech said: “ The feeling of the nation must be quickened; the conscience of the nation must be roused; the propriety of the nation must be startled; the hypocrisy of the nation must be exposed; and its crimes against God and man must be proclaimed and denounced.”
“Frederick Douglass’ words sound curiously like a controversial preacher preaching 150 years after Douglass,” he said before reading an excerpt of the speech.
For those who need a refresher course on some of Wright’s most controversial sermons, watch this Fox News wrap-up:
I support rev.wright and i also believe what he stands for not all people will come out the closet and stand for the wrong that is being done to blacks i support td jakes because i know from where he came from ,,what i dont support is bigots who come in sheep clothing and speak with a fork tongue everyone is has a opinion no matter how right or wrong it maybe its when people over step there opinion and talk like the know you to the point of being disrespectful then when you fire back at them the run to the admin like they been shot ! The feeling of the nation must be quickened; the conscience of the nation must be roused; the propriety of the nation must be startled; the hypocrisy of the nation must be exposed; and its crimes against God and man must be proclaimed and denounced.”
“From the depths of my heart I am aware that this prize is much more than an honor to me personally,” Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said in his acceptance speech for the Nobel Prize in 1964. “Every time I take flight I am always mindful of the many people who make a successful journey possible, the known pilots and unknown ground crew
Aug. 28, 1955, is the day that a 14-year old Chicago boy by the name of Emmett Till, visiting relatives in Money, Miss., was dragged from his bed, beaten, mutilated and killed. His crime? Someone said he whistled at a white woman. His greatest crime? He was, to the whites in Money, an African American who didn't know his place. As we have celebrated King and his speech over the years, we have tended to forget about Till's role in making some blacks in key places start to believe that no other living being had a right to decide what a black man's place was in society if it meant being less than any other human being. Before her death, Rosa Parks was asked why, on that particular day, she refused to give up her seat. Her answer was, “I just couldn't stop thinking about Emmett Till.” King's speech on Aug. 28, 1963 was a defining moment for the civil rights movement. Before he got to the “I Have a Dream” portion of his speech, he talked about coming to the nation's capital to cash a check, a check that had come back marked “insufficient funds.” He reminded America that there was no room for the moral insufficiency of segregation and racism. Till's death motivated many blacks to think differently about segregation and to understand that when a person lives and accepts a system where one is considered less valuable than another person based on physical attributes, they can be extinguished on a whim or a piece of gossip. It was courageous of his mother to expose the monster of hate and intolerance that held sway over a large section of this country that preached freedom and equality !
more history facts On September 15th, 1955 Jet Magazine published, unedited, the images of Emmett Till. Black America was stunned. For some, this was the first visual image of the brutality of American racism. For others, the dead body of Till only confirmed the disease at the heart of the United States. America was sick. And Emmett Till was to become the sacrificial lamb, which sparked the modern Civil Rights Movement that sought to heal the nation.
What did Mamie Till Mobley want us to see when she decided to leave open her baby's coffin? What was she memorializing at that moment? Obviously, her decision called attention to the brutality of American racism. But I am convinced that she wanted to make visible all of those victims of American hatred who remained invisible. The nameless black bodies that lined the bottom of the Tallahatchie River and the spirits that were defeated daily by the systemic and dehumanizing experience of white supremacy were all captured in the brutally disfigured face of a murdered fourteen-year old boy. Perhaps she wanted that image to haunt the nation -- to force us to remember those who reside in the shadows. Those images defined a generation. And they, at least for me, continue to haunt.
On the exact same day, eight years later, an estimated 250,000 people engaged in an historic demonstration before the Lincoln Memorial for civil rights and economic justice. And it was here that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered his famous "I Have a Dream" speech. In some ways, that speech stands as a third "founding" of the nation. Just as President Lincoln's second inaugural offered a revision of the revolutionary beginnings of America, Dr. King's words expanded the very idea of American democracy in which the promises of freedom and justice would be extended to its entire people.
We have now honored Dr. King with a national memorial. But what are we to see and to remember when we visit this place? How are we to understand its connection to the death of Emmett Till?
All too often our memory of the March on Washington suffocates its lessons. Many see it as an affirmation of the inherent goodness of America -- of our progress towards a "more perfect union." But we are so busy patting ourselves on the back about how far we've come that we've turned a blind eye to the ugliness of America, in all of its guises, that continues to thwart the life chances of so many of our fellows.
That memory is also lost as those who claim Dr. King's inheritance use the anniversary of the March on Washington to project themselves as leaders. They urge us to engage in rote marches, while one after another wraps themselves in the shroud of Dr. King's prophetic sacrifice. All the while, suffering remains unseen as they revel in newfound access to the corridors of power. In some ways, how we remember the black freedom struggle today is destroying parts of our collective memory. America's racist past has become too neat and clean; our dead have been ushered off stage. All the while Rush Limbaugh, Senator Tom Coburn, and others trade in the languages of its insidious offspring. And the structural legacy of racism continues, despite claims of personal responsibility, to deny opportunity to a significant portion of the American population.
Americans, especially African Americans, must not walk through the King national memorial without remembering our dead, without calling the names of those we know and acknowledging the nameless souls who sacrificed for a more just world.
This is why we have to return to the open casket of Emmett Till. How we remember our dead informs how we struggle on behalf of those who live in the shadows. Mamie Till Mobley taught us this lesson. She declared boldly, even after burying her child, that she did not have time to hate -- that she would pursue justice for the rest of her life. That open casket was about justice; those images of Emmett Till were to remind us about the never-ending fight for justice. And if we revel in the simple fact that Dr. King's image stands among the memorials in Washington, D.C. without remembering the fight for justice today then we have been taken in by sounding brass and tinkling cymbal, and we've turned our backs on our dead.
Rev. Wright is not an intelligent man and this is why. Rev. Wright is a Black American man and a descendant of slaves. Rev. Wright's religion is LIFE and not the European's Christian religion. Apostile Paul give Christianity to the European Gentiles and at this time Black Americans were not in existence. Furthermore, none of the Christians prophets racially match Black American people.
Am I right about all this?

Hello to All,
Mr. Booker T. Washington was not of average intelligence. In fact, he had under average intelligence or poor intelligence to have traded his food for books. He thought and saw his freedom in White America's world where he himself was an out right slave. Had he any common sense he would know that books cannot set him free.
Unfortunately, Booker T. Washington did not live in the time era that God anointed us a prophet that will lead 41 million Black Americans into sovereignty in a country of our own with borders. This would indicate that we, as Black Americans now have our hands on the wheels of our own destiny.
In other words, God will do no less for us than what God did of the children of Israel in the days of Moses 4000 years ago.
The gist of what I have just said books including the Bible and the Quran cannot give to us.
HARRY no body i mean no body is buying what your selling

/* Thank you for missing me Brother David... I'm still here. I plan to be here for quite awhile. :-) I think when its my time to go home, I'd probably attempt to strike up a deal betwix me and the Lord...I'll make a pitch to do just one more good thing - in essence, I'm going kickin an scratchin, good Brother. > Sister Irma, I just don't know what to do with myself...of course the 'House-*****' knew how to read and write! Many of the 'Field *****s' did too! Do you not think that Josiah Henson knew how to read? How do you think the knowledge got passed along? Yes, it, the knowledge, was combined with in-bred knowledge allowing for the possibility and probability of knowledge being two-fold and three more than thee - (the owners). My, my, what an advantage! > NONE OF US, PEOPLE OF COLOR, HAS ANYTHING TO APOLOGIZE FOR!
There are many scientist today working on cures for all kinds of illnesses...my Grandmother used a lot of onions, i.e., broths, soups, fever breakers and such. She taught us a lot right from the kitchen.
If he were a white minister, his fire and brimstone sermons wouldn't make the radar screen. It's his blackness that turns his words to "poison," that is to say, poison for those white people who are too weak to accept anything less than a very ugly and dubious "privilege"--particularly dubious considering first, how little it ultimately benefits the vast majority of white people who gain zero from race hate, and second, the fact that the object of their hatred--African-Americans--are actually, like the majority of "Americans," a mix and match of myriad ethnicity, particularly European ethnicity.

Children are innocnet, so innocnet until the White master's children were rAISEd by the house slaves much like today we raise white children...so during slavery black and Wite children grew up as play mates as the young were not slaves yet until a certain age. WHite children back then often helped their black friends to learn to read and to write SOME DD IT AS IT WAS DANGEROUS O D, SOME DID IT SO THEY WOULD HAVE SOMEONE TO DO THE SCHOOL WORK FOR THEM and a lot of slaves learned on their own.
