How to be a Motivated Student (1740 hits)

The decision to be a motivated student starts today. The moment that you wake up tell yourself that it will be an outstanding day full of blessings, power and success. During each moment of the day remind yourself that it is a day that is full of possibilities that you have never experienced before. Take the time to call people who will encourage you and inspire you to work hard to achieve your goals. This is your day to be motivated and to have a different way of living. It is time to take off the old habits and to put on new habits. Read motivational books that can lead you to be creative and help you to get rid of old habits. A good book for a student is “Beyond Talent” By John Maxwell. There will be plenty of changes that are positive as you move into a new level of motivation. The first time you think of what you cannot do change it by thinking about what you will do to alter your situation. Here are a few motivation and success tips for you to consider:

1. Read books that remind you of the unique gifts that you possess.
2. Read and create your own quotes and read quotes that others have written.
3. Form a mastermind group of people who have established positive goals for their lives.
4. Regularly meet one on one with all of your motivating teachers and coaches.
5. Focus on your fitness. Go to the gym three times a week. Work on obtaining a new energy level
6. Get to know yourself so that you will get sufficient rest when you need it.
7. Listen to motivational videos on Youtube and on CDs.
8. Focus on the future and don’t let thoughts about the past hold you back.
9. Go to lectures when a motivational speaker is in your city.
10. Say positive things that you want to happen in your life rather than saying what you don’t want to happen .

Keeping your motivation to achieve your goals high can be one of the most enjoyable experiences in life. I have met many individuals who have a high level of motivation all of the time. They have learned to use negative experiences as learning opportunities. Each day should be a chance to explore and find out many things about yourself. You were created to be a unique person with the potential to impact the entire world.
Allow yourself the time to reach out and help others to raise their motivation. When you have a positive impact on others lives you will raise your own motivation. Sometimes just by talking to a person you can come up with new reasons to have a joyous day. For example did you know that people who smile and have joy live longer? It’s important to have different types of positive thoughts going through your mind daily. Today should be a day that is full of action and new commitments to remain motivated. You can go to events to meet others who are accomplishing the goals that you have for your life.
Increasing your motivation level is a great way to take the limits off of your possibilities. When you start your classes make a list of all that you expect to learn. Go after your education with the motivation to put in all of the time that is necessary. You must be willing to challenge yourself expect positive people to act in your favor. If you will take the initiative to meet with your teacher/professor they can offer advice about how to succeed in there course. You can build a good reputation as a student who motivated by the positive words that you speak and think about. Make this day a success by exploring all of your options and knowing that your motivation will lead to the highest grades and possibilities.
