Call up your neighbors, friends, and family; put on your dancing shoes and set your GPS to fun! On Saturday, September 8, 2012 from 3-6, OFA invites our friends and neighbors to a Community Outreach Block Party which will be held at a the Community Volunteer Center located at 2465 Main Street, East Point, GA 30344.
We created this event to get the community out to mix and mingle with each other, educate them on voting rights and to get them registered while enjoying family fun and music. As they visit the various stations to learn more prizes and stickers will be awarded throughout the event. It will be interactive and fun for all ages.
This free event will feature food and fun for the entire family, live DJ, volunteer recruitment for canvassing and phone banking, informational stations for those that have questions regarding voting, local politicians will be present for meet and greet, vendors will be selling items and there will be celebrity guest appearances and more.
