Hello, it's me again Yo' little Southern Belle MIISRAEL. Surely,I am a Southern Belle; and you have the pleasure of reading this little writing of mine A LITTLE SOUTHERN NEWS. Amazingly, I just keep writing it and it's one of my most popular works of creative wriings other than my Winniespoetry Books. All provided has to my purpose and the astounding love & glory I've given to the Lord's direction and blessings in my life. Each year for four years now I've taken voyages on the Star Ship S.I.Y.S.T.T. which usually it has accomplished strange outcomes which have proven overwhelming! Don't be afraid however, just pin down the hatches and ready yourself a reading a most humorous trip to out-of-space as we take on the space voyage in the events in this issue of The Curiosity Connection. RED ALERT! RED ALERT!
The ship has prompted for red alert as they discover a turkey shoot has people showing up on earth to shoot at a target turkey on a bale of hay.
Captian MIIS: What's the download data Lt. Sand?
Lt. Sand: Yes, Captain Bride. The data shows that if the attemdees pay $1.00 they'll be abe to shoot their BB guns at a target turkey 5 times and win a Thanksgiving Turkey to take home as their prize!
Captian MIIS: AH Ha! so that's what happened to that missing number 5 upon take off? Five chances to hit the target turkey...This spurs up my curiority for a clue?
Eric: Captain there's a UFO headed in our direction at a high warp speed!
Captain MIIS: Prepare to fire phasers Mr. Eric we'll break up the whatever dat is befo it hit us!
Eric: Firing phaser Captain..
Ka PHeew!
Eric: Direct hit Captain! Turns out it was only a bale of hay burning up in orbit...
Captain MIIS: We'd better not linger too long around this event. We don't want them to start shootin at us too...
Eric: Captain, Suggestion..we better go! The settlements of that colony are shooting BB's at us now..
Captain MIIS: GET US OUT HEAR ERIC! I knew it wouldn't be long, just as I spoke it -- if they didn't start aiming for us as a target too...
We's looking like a target to them!
Captian MIIS: Let's git... go to warp 10! ......
WHEW! "One day I'm gone have a long talk wit Y'ALL bout the Star Ship S.I.Y.S.T.T." That's pronounced as City...
Maybe y'all is curious why she's called the bride......DU..UGH!
But taking to such fast speed led the ship off course...
SUDDENLY....IT'S LEADING THEM TO A GRAVITY DEFYING TIME VORTEX!
Captain MIIS: YIPES! ZANG! we're headed into dis hear time vortex...Mr. Eric everybody brace yo'selfs.....
DAH..HHH!... {lot's of shaking goin's on....}
Captain MIIS: Wit dis shaking, I'm gon have to send fo' Nurse Jen!!!
....then as they traveled deeper into the time vortex Lt. Sand notices somethin on the screen...
Sand: Captain Bride.. look at the screen do you see that? Why it's.....?
"Keep a scrolling y'all --and take a look see..."
HELLO AMERICA!

We's ahead of ourselves...He done won again!
LOL!!!

Eric: Captain we're traveling through the vortex to the next event it's just ahead...
Sand: Captain Bride I'm picking up some curious and strange audio sounds...I'm turning up the volume..
MIIS: How curious..We gits to see a birthday celebration whiles in the time vortex!
W.C. HANDY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
November 19, 2012
MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE
Stay a while on November 19, 2012 as Memphis is celebrating a legend in music Mr. W.C. Handy's Birthday. It'll be opened for all and normally this is free... Thar's a parade and you might can find and many local and public talents on a stage making the sound of Memphis Music go outta--space! It's a broadcast this year that bound to make someone play theys horns... So, if you is interested; you'll have to do the other stuff and find out fo' you own selves. Dis hear is A Little Southern News. I done told y'all it's cause "I only tell a little."
As the ship's is exiting the vortex it returns back to the earth's orbit the Captian and crew are gearing up to continue their voyage.
Captian MIIS: Eric let's see if we can find some where for lunch on earth. We'll beam down for a day's outing...That time vortex is behind us finally.
ERIC: Captian we'll be right over South Carolina and there seems to be a food festival at Salley's.
Captian MIIS: Good. We's take a party of 5 and beam down. The rest can give us our strength back after such a shake up!!
Nurse Jen, Eric, Lt. Sand, Irma Gurl, Miss Gussie Maes and the Captain all report to the transporter station and beam down. Beam us down Scotty!
Landing in Salley, South Carolina...
Miss Gussie Maes: I'm smelling...something?
Captian MIIS: Little gurl, you is always thanking bout some-teet! I wonder if you ever gets full? You is right though..I smell that too..Scan the area Mr. Eric and see wheas dat scent coming from..
The group follows the tri-smeller quarter and finds a group of peoples in line.. They approach a sign:

IRMA GURL: I've never been ta Salley's befo' but I have my library card! (Smiles)
The smell becomes stronger more intense...
SAND: Captian those people are doing some kind of strut before they're getting their plates..that a bit curious? Do we do the same?
MIIS: We'll have to; if we are to go undetected we is strangers!... Everybody let's strut!!
Nurse Jen: That's affirmative!
The food smell has a unique flavor,
and all 4 have their plates and eat it too! But only after they read of what was the next event!...

Chitlin', chitlings, chitterlings! It's all the same and it's hog intestine, this festival is full of the Chitlin'! You can find them battered, deep fried, or boiled to perfechitfection! If you're one of an acquired taste...don't come hear! The smell alone just might keep y'all away...or it might just draw a crowd! Some 40,000 folks come up each year. So we all know what their eatin is why it's a strut! This event has been hosted by Salley, SC since the year of 1965..
That'll shake up some..STANKY PEOPLE!!
Shucks! People do love them som' chitlin' Find out more bout the town of Salley's just by calling them at dat number.. I'm curious who didn't get a plate.. Oh, it was you?
Captain MIIS: Frankly, it wasn't a bad taste.. For some folks it is an aquiet taste. When you offer the chitln' they's quiet. Let's go crew we'll need to check and see if we's okay. Nurse Jen has her first aid kit.
Nurse Jen: My observation of it's taste .... it's juicy..Ha!
Captian MIIS: I declare, Nurse Jen has a way bout herself. Anyhow,beam us up Scotty!.. but don't ruffle us up too badly... Okay?
LATER...Back on top of the ship....
CAPTIAN MIIS: Eric sir, set a course for us around the globle. we is bound to find a little curiosity there and take a few of it's samples back.
Flashing lights on the ship as the crew enters Mars orbit..
SAND: Captian Bride we're on YELLOW ALERT! hailing all frequencies... {Whistle sounds}
Captian MIIS: I'm wondering what events we might see next.
MEANWHILE: We'll take a view of some the worlds top ten music events. Some we's neber heard of all around the world straight from THE STARSHIP S.I.Y.C.T.T....

If you're taking your Thanksgiving dinner out from home which require reservations, make sure you make them at least 2 weeks in advance. AND many times some dinners come with turkey and all the fixins for those who hate to cook... Gents: Make sure the lady is seated befo' taking your seat. That's plain chilvary and good manners.
