We are often asked to "respect people's religions." In the first place, many religious ideas are very disrespectful to human beings and are not worthy of respect. Secondly, what about people respecting our religion in return?
The word "religion" comes from the Latin noun religiō, which means, among other things, "scrupulousness" or "conscientiousness." In my perspective of reality, I endeavor to be extremely scrupulous and conscientious. Hence, one could call me "religious" and my perspective "religion."
My religion does not call people "infidels," "heretics," "goyim," "heathens" or "sinners," who are "other" and "alien," unlike us and worthy of contempt, exploitation or worse.
Please respect my religion.
My religion does not call for nonbelievers to be derogated, hated, subjugated or enslaved.

My religion has no giant, anthropomorphized, male God in the sky, somewhere "out there" separate and apart from humanity who dictates our every waking moment.

This poem makes no sense to me. There is nothing that makes me to think this about the author of the poem's own personal religion. As a matter of fact, it sounds like an OUTRIGHT ATTACK on other Religions of the World. The only thing that the author of the poem believes in is... Himself. Its very disrepectful and tasteless.
Your religion, to me, is not intolerant nor tolerant. Your religion is accpting of the human spirit with all of its imperfections.

First of all if it was a religion ... which it isn't ... secondly, to answer the question Here's my Emphatic and Resounding YES!
Is this person a deist, agnostic, or atheist? I can't decide?
The first link in the body of the blog is where a commenter said that the author's religion is intolerant. At the link I posted in my first comment is where the author clarifies her views on tolerance/intolerance.
The author has also written a book on the Horus/Jesus connection. It wouldn't be the first I've read on that subject, but I may get it for the sake of additional references, and because she discusses Philo and the contribution of the Alexandrian Jewish allegorists and other Egyptian schools of thought/practice to the development of Christianity.
Study of the Egyptian and Olmec hieroglyphs led me to study the various crowns that are depicted in the art of those civilizations, and it is all about, BIG SURPRISE, NATURE! For instance, Isis is the mother, the sky, the one who embraces the sun, which causes, BIG SURPRISE, FOOD TO GROW! So her crown is the horns of the ox embracing the disc of the sun. The horns of the ox, I surmise, because the ox was used to plow the fields which combines with the sun to, BIG SURPRISE, PRODUCE FOOD!
I need to track down an Olmec sculpture I have seen that has a crown with a similar theme. It has an ear of corn in the center, and instead of horns on each side it is flanked by a representation of something I haven't identified yet. It's in the paper I found on Olmec hieroglyphs and embedded in the text, so I have to find it somewhere else.
Oh and the way I see the author's philosophy/religion, it looks to be about this same theme, harmony with nature, peace and unity in the human race.

Another motif Lockwood (77) raises in relation to the parables and the Buddhist tactic of "skillful leading by misleading" (upaya-kaushalya) is the appearance in Paul's First Epistle to the Corinthians (15:6-7) of 500 "brethren" who supposedly witnessed the resurrected Christ. This motif has been used by Christians as "proof" that Christ was a historical figure, about whom Paul and these hundreds of others clearly knew. However, according to Buddhist scholar Dr. Christian Lindtner, this "historical" episode represents yet another example of "pious fraud" and propaganda:

I couldn't find the full meaning of upaya-kaushalya, but upaya means Expedient Means. And I wish I had a copy of the Nirvana Sutra (Mahā-Parinirvāna-Sūtra) so I could check this out. But interestingly, I happen to be in the Five Hundred Disciples chapter of the Lotus Sutra right now. And I had forgotten that part of Paul's story.

I can't say whether Shakyamuni Buddha was an actual person, or if he was whether he said all the things he is said to have said. But the teachings are enlightening so I study them. The spirit of Buddha is much like the spirit of Jesus, my first spiritual guide. Jesus still guides me, and now Shakyamuni.
Irma says I'm Buddhist so I am. But I'm a Deist too. And Deism like all religions comes in many flavors.
