I came home from work tonight and found that my blog, "Here I am Preaching..." has disappeared. All I can find is a nasty little note left by Roberta Powell calling me a cowardly ***** (his words). So I'm wondering if an individual member has the ability to wipe out another member's content? Have you had an experience like this?

Curtis, another member can't wipe out your blog. This has happened to Mozell Fleming, whom you wouldn't know, and also to Miisrael.
Irma, we need to find out what this is all about. Where is Elynor? I haven't seen her in ages.

Robert has now gone to Harry's blog to come after me and Curtis. Robert is mad because David won't fight with him anymore and his ally Jake has been discredited and I guess Robert cannot be happy unless he has someone to strike out at.
I'll get the ISBN for you or just post the link here. You are always in my prayers Irma and I will ask my son where he gets his organic seeds from and check into the rutabaga for you.

Thank you Siebra. I appreciate it. And Irma, thank you for your suggestions last night. They are much appreciated too. But I have a question for you, Irma. You have mentioned several times that Robert has read my book, but are you sure? I felt like everything he said was said to make it sound like he was an expert and knew what he was talking about, but since he made no references directly to anything in the book that made me think he never laid eyes on it, nor would he be capable of reading it if he did come in contact with it given the level of hatred in the poor man's heart. Lord have mercy.

Elynor replied that Reggie will be following up on this.
Curtis has told me about the message one gets when using the block feature, that the system would delete comments made on the blocked person's blog.
What has been the experience of those of you who have used the block feature? I wonder if it could be related to Curtis's blog being deleted.
Curtis what was the timing? Did your blog get deleted after you blocked or before? And if after, what was the interval between blocking and the blog's deletion.

if the blog is talking about a member on the site in a non-productive way, I
usually delete it without notice - whether someone alerts me to the blog, or
I am browsing the site on my own and I see it.

So I think you were right Curtis to block Robert so the situation doesn't occur again.
Too bad Robert that you can't be civil. Oh that's right, you can't reply. Just put it on Harry's blog.

Siebra, thanks. Sounds pretty strange though. I went back to the top to see how spam is reported (must've been done by email) and noticed the "Report obscenity" link again. Never thought about it much, but that might have some potential for misuse.

Steve I'm glad you brought that up, because I believe it's one of the reasons Mozell isn't here. People such as myself that blog (and do this often) they enjoy and take pride in what they do. Most of all, they know where they stand at all times when they do it. Not only can site members read what I'm/we're writing, but they can flag and report your blogs/member comments to administration for removal if they choose to.
Mozell was one of the top bloggers and a very close friend of mine who published excerpts from his books of poems here. When some of his poetry disappeared without explanation, he spoke up by bringing it to the attention of those who should've mattered.
Also, in a telephone conversation with me, Mozell has said that he noticed that some of his writings were tampered with by others. What was that about? Was the "report obscenity" feature misused by someone who had a personal vendetta against him? So maybe, I would be a little concerned as well, depending how important my writings were to me, and why my blogs had to be tampered with.
