YOUR NATIONAL NEWS
DAY 2
MAY 2013
The Food and Drug Administration and the Federal Government has allowed Plan B which is more easily identified as "the morning after pill" a contraceptive for women to be available for sale without prescription. However, there lies other controversial matters concerning the age group of women allowed to purchase it.
The age group allows young women at the age of 15 permission to buy the contraception with ease with proper identification of age. Many religious groups are against this, and even non-religious persons feel the age is entirely too young. What it may mean to young teens is easy access to buy the Plan B without a parent's permission. Since the new ruling this week by a Federal Judge, heavy thought provoking conversation, and debates has the allowable age of purchase questionable. Many think the allowable age is entirely too young. President Obama has supported that he feels the age group has his approval. Views of many women may vary as some support the usage, while others feel that it allows open avenues for allowing young women to become s*xually active far younger. Then others may review that it encourages s*xual activity and promotes un-protective s*x.
Requires some observation.
