A huge X solar flare was caught on camera from the sun on May 12, 2013. The X solar flare is the largest of the year so far. This latest flare is registered as a 1.7 Solar Class Eruption and was captured by the NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory. Solar eruptions of such large magnitude can pose a threat to satellite and space stations, as well as orbiting planets. Sunday's eruption was in the opposite side of sun posed not danger to space equipment or orbiting planets because of the eruption location. The super mass eruption is called Coronal Mass Ejection. The sun is having its season known as Solar Cycle which began in 2008 and is having it weather space weather cycle expecting to last through 2019 or 202o.
