I just had a conversation discussing the division in our family in which I was told, "you can''t worry about everyone else" my response was, "I'm not worried, I'm disappointed that we don't do better as a family and a people", but as I thought about it the reality is, I am worried, not just about my own immediate family, but the millions of black families out here subjected to the same dysfunction within their homes... We as a nation are on the brink of self destruction, we are on a devastating collision with ourselves, and the end is not going to be pretty if we don't wake up and realize, "A Nation Divided Cannot Stand", and the strength of that nation begins in the home, that is where we lead by example and prepare our children for the next journey ahead...
Our families need to set aside their differences and begin building a new foundation for themselves and the future of our children, we need to come together as a people and work
together toward the healing and building of our neighborhoods and communities, the outcome of our destiny as a whole lies in the conditioning of our minds toward universal awareness of self and a unified commitment to change...
One person can speak on it, a thousand people can march, but it takes an entire nation to bring it into existence, we have been trampling down the walls of injustice for a long time, yet we continue to be fed with a long handled spoon, the only change we will ever receive will be in tidbits to keep us quiet, docile, and compliant, unless we ourselves take the initiative to break the backbone of this corrupt manifold that has one law seemingly beneficial while another crushes it's existence, we shall always be bound by this silently structured, systematically driven constitution of hidden corruption...
Family, unity, love, trust, and commitment toward one another is what we have lost in this battle to survive within the barriers of our existence... We have become a nation on the outside peering through the window of hope without any hope to hold onto, it's up to us to change the dynamics of our struggles and turn them into victories, the only way to bring this into existence is for us to start where it will make the most impact, right in our own homes, neighborhoods, and communities, our city government, and then our country, put on your thinking caps, break the chain that dismantles us as a people, a nation, "Division", and come together in a unified commitment to help lead our people out of the dungeons of history and into a new nation in which we all can find hope and security in the palms of this world...
