Could you imagine what life would have been like had Malcolm X and Matin Luther King, Jr. combined their dreams for a greater nation, thoughts anyone?
Both leaders forces combined would have been more powerful, more influential and more effective globally as well as domestically across the African Diaspora. They would've had a practical plan and approach to political, educational, health and economic empowerment and advancement. Overall, the tangible results within our communities would be different: the psychology, nuclear family, employment, net worth, self esteem, entrepreneurship, drug culture, murder rate, rate of disease, innovation and urban outlook would be completely different from what we witness now! The fragmentation, division and distrust we often witness amongst and between black people in regards to black leaders and their personal beliefs would be none existent. Collectively as black people we should have matured beyond such divisions and petty riffs, being that we are not a monolith. We would be coalescing and aligning with black leaders who proactively stand up and truly advocate and vocalize the cares, concerns, causes, plight, progression and overall betterment of black people. Times demand that we know the difference, "We must know the distinct difference between leading blacks and black leaders." Both Malcolm X and Martin Luther King, Jr. were black leaders.
thoughts anyone?
