Sweet 16!

That sweet number indeed is a sweet day for Malala Yousafzai. The youthful teen was honored guest and speaker on her 16th birthday after a close call with an attempt on her life by the Taliban. After months of recovery, Malala spoke highly in favor of education for girls, women and boys. She stated in her speech on issues pertaining to her shooting, and that she was more alive than ever to continue her mission to educate women and boys because the suffer most and that she was joined by others who feel the same. Malala also pointed out some of role models for peace where great leaders and inspiration for her love of everyone. She mentioned such leaders as Mohammad, Jesus Christ, and Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela along with several others. Standing steadfastly she spoke to a audience of over 1000 young leaders in her first public speech since October 2012 and first public speech since her recovery of the gunshot wound to the head. This was the UN first time to host a public speaking designated for youths and it has been declared that July 12, 2012 is officially Malala' Day.

What a perfect peaceful day for PeaceMakers..

I see her receiving a Nobel Laureate Prize in her near future in Jesus Name and being invited to CNN's Anderson Cooper's Heroes if she hasn't already been invited.
