Ye have not chosen me,
but I have chosen you, and ordained you,
that ye should go and bring forth fruit,
and that your fruit should remain:
that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name,
he may give it you.
~ John 15:16
Man would have me to believe that I am worthless and incapable of success.
Being worthless would mean, my existence is meaningless
and void of purpose with no reason for living.
Being incapable of success would mean,
I allowed man to dictate my level of wisdom
and knowledge that is immeasurable beyond his imagination.
And yet man would have me to believe that my connection
to God is only possible through him as he determines
what I should and should not know
to be the true word of God.
Having a limited connection to God with man as my only medium
for communication would mean, there is no need for change
through the renewing of my mind to change or improve my way of thinking.
Accepting man’s interpretation of God’s word would mean,
I have not spiritually matured to know man is attempting
to deceive me into perverting God’s truth
for man’s own personal gain.
Chosen by God,
I was called to rise to a position of being
his voice, eyes and ears through the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
Being chosen by God, rather than choosing God,
is far more important than man can even conceive
or hopes I’ll realize as he attempts to control me.
Chosen by God, I am destined for greatness,
but man’s lateness for a genuine relationship with God
may cost him an eternity in hell.
