Second Log
MY DEAR GOD OF LOVE:
On this course today there was shallow water by the shoal. But I was made aware of it and have noted in this log.
The sea is salty and because I am new at this; I still am a landlubber. I am being taught by your own hands experience. After washing the hull and the bridge, the sun came out and dried them quickly. Then to the galley I went and made breakfast of salt crackers and peanut butter. I sat out by the hold viewing the skies above me. I felt blessed as I looked at your glories. Overviewing the chart today, I read about the salt, it is better for one to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone tied around his neck if he or she causes one your own to sin.
Because of the wickedness they do, worms will die and the fire that burns them will never be quenched. I hope many will take up the salt and prepare for peace now.
I set course for the Atlantic where Euroclydon is forming. I'm preparing to see it in a few more days. The winds are blowing upon my face. I felt your presence today,
this Independence Day.
