IT'S AN ODD STORY

A strange phone call came in to police in Portland, OR when it was reported a chicken was causing traffic hazards during the busy afternoon traffic. The Portland police reported to the scene, but didn't find the disappearing bird. The caller informed the dispatch operator it wasn't a prank call. There was no evidence of the pursuant, however a through check of the area cleared any endangerment to the busy highway. So, the report was odd and the question remains . . . "Why did the chicken cross the road?" Well, a quick answer for now, would be "He wanted to be in "It's an Odd Story."
