I pray this email finds you well.
I want to thank each one of you for the wonderful celebration you gave me on Sunday. My heart and soul continues to rejoice from the morning, during service and after church surprises. You have showered me with both love and gifts and for that I am eternally grateful. St Paul's, I thank God for you daily!
Yesterday, I finished reading every single card that was given to me on Sunday. Many of the cards brought tears to my eyes. Each card was beautiful, thoughtful and creative. I was also blessed by so many personal notes and gifts. My words will never be capable of fully expressing my love and appreciation. As I officially celebrate my 50th birthday today I am thankful to God who has kept me and continues to bless me. I also thank God that I am able to share this wonderful celebration with you.
It is just hitting me that I have reached a milestone and I realized today that I need to take some personal time and celebrate.
Again, thank you for showering me with such genuine love.
