A stormy weather of rains made Northern California have a good and bad shower. The drought stricken state was heeding rains, but the latest storm on December 11, 2014 wasn't suppose to rain so much. Much of Northern California was drenched with heavy duty showers as a storm passed along with dumping buckets down. At least 220,000 people across the State of California were without power after the rains passed through. Along with the rains were flash flooding and potential for dangerous mudslides. Many residents of San Francisco were up to inch of rain in one hour's time. Still many of the residents and business communities are without power as busy utility crews are working speedily to have the power restored. Many are delighted to see the rains but it was the capacity that threw them in the puddles. Flights were canceled, some schools were closed, wine vineyards were flooded and multiple accidents were part of the good and the bad of this latest storms of showers.
