The National Forum for Black Public Administrators 33rd Annual Conference, FORUM 2015, April 22-26 (2310 hits)


The National Forum for Black Public Administrators will host its 33rd annual conference , FORUM 2015, April 22-26, 2015 in Tampa , Florida. We invite you to participate in our annual scholarships and  Poster Contest with for undergraduate and graduate students.
NFBPA is hosting FORUM 2015 Student Research Poster Competition, which recognizes research work by individual graduate and undergraduate students.

Posters selected to compete in the FORUM 2015 Poster Competition are judged in two stages. In the first stage, a panel of distinguished judges views the posters during the poster sessions and selects six semi‐finalists. These semi‐finalists will present their work to FORUM 2015 attendees during the NFBPA Poster Presentations.  At the end of the presentations, the judges will announce the first‐, second‐, and third‐place winners.

Researchers must have conducted the research while you were an undergraduate or graduate student. This includes first year graduate students who want to present their undergraduate research projects. Each student may only participate in one poster. If you worked on multiple projects that will be presented, you will have to choose one main poster and your mane will be included on as the presenter.

Semi‐Finalists must be available during the conference on Thursday, April 23, 2015 and Friday, April 24, 2015 in the designated area of the exhibit for presentations. (Specific Presentation times will be mailed to each semifinalists.

Poster Specifications: A tri‐fold 48” wide 36” high. You must bring poster with you to FORUM 2015.  Poster must be laminated. Additional material for setting up the posters, as well as computers and or technical devices needed for presentation is the responsibility of each presenter. For more information, go to:
