Cancer is undoubtedly widespread and deadly with forecasts of nearly 1.7 million diagnoses each year and over 575,000 related-deaths in the United States alone.
Although cancer development is quite a complex process that’s closely linked to genetics, evidence has long suggested that when coupled with regular screening examinations, healthy lifestyle choices can greatly reduce cancer occurrence as well as survival from the disease.
So oftentimes I’m asked: "What foods prevent cancer?"
This is always a difficult question for me to answer.
