I am left by your push-back to the deacon. We are a mental representation in a physical form! We have the attributes that God has; like love, guilt consciousness, envy, jealousy, so on and so on.
Therefore, we were not created in the physical image of God because God in not physical. God is Spirit and spirit is mental.
Your thinking Steve is analytical and rational.
By the way, the deacon hasn’t answered your question if God have a schlong by quoting Genesis! The angel that the deacon is coming from god would have a schlong.

This will be by last comment on this blog. Your answer Steve is that all human-beings are a mental representation of God and ourselves since we have free will. We surely are not a physical representation because God is SPIRIT and not flesh!
The mental image we have of God are God’s attributes; love, charity, justice and etc. No human-being can love like God. No human-being can be as charitable as God. No human-being can be as just as God can.
God is the best of all that was created!
And, don’t forget that the reference you all are using comes from Prophet Moses so what Moses is meaning is that he speaks only for the Jewish people and not for the deacon who is clearly not the same race as Prophet Moses.
The Jewish people you see in the State of Israel today are the descendants of the Israelites in the Bible!

This passage or I should say song is from the Psalms of Asaph. It is his song in tribute to God and his acknowledgement how God has been good to Israel.
He also was referring to the proud and sinful people in Israel and that’s who will be destroyed because it will happen suddenly like in a dream.
In Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
God spoke the word, Let us made man and he used the image or likeness of himself as he talked to his Son and other Angels as a blueprint. Now in Genesis 2:7 according to The Holy Bible tell us how God make man. “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”
Also in Genesis 2:20 tells us how God made woman. “20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.”
Now that was a onetime deal and had nothing to do with, what is that term you used: “schlong.” If I got it wrong, show it to me according to what is written in the Holy Bible.

God give man all of the tools to have dominion over the earth and a woman to be the mother of nations, which also includes s*xual reproductive parts. Steve, that in itself is a great power over the earth.

The full title of the Lotus Sutra is, The Subtle Law Lotus Flower Sutra. In the Bible the subject is God, in the Lotus Sutra the subject is The Law. My definition of God is, The Law. The Law is revealed in all phenomena, not in prophetic utterance. The Law doesn't look like any particular human being.
