A major earthquake caused an apartment building to fall down in the city of Tainan which injured hundreds and suffered deaths of at least 11 people according to the latest medias reports. The strong quake struck just before dawn on Saturday, February 06, 2016. Hundreds were piled under the apartment's building rubble. Emergency teams and medical professionals assisted the wounded and aided in rescues. Many of the people were still in bed when the unpredicted rumbler shook the earth side to side and some described the shaking as jumping up and down. Frightened people scrambled for safety and sought frantically to find relatives and friends. In a early report at least 347 people were rescued but some were still unaccounted for. In all the chaos a prompt rescue teams were organized in methods that saved thousands. Many who received minor injuries were released from the hospital. The quake was measured as being a 6.4 quake which is highly strong. The quake came just days before celebrating a Chinese New Year. This year 2016 is the Zodiac Year of the Monkey which is considered as a bad year.
