Has become a real celebration in the United States more so than in Mexico. Many identify this day as the independence day of Mexico, however history tells another story of this day's celebration. Often today is celebrated with parties and gatherings.

This special holiday is celebrated in the United States with prayers of all faiths coming together to pray for Americans and America's leaders. As a whole faiths gather together to pray for each other and celebrate to giving strength and values of a God's nation of liberty and justice and trust. This national holiday begin in 1952 under the approval of Congress and approved by President Harry Truman.
This year's theme is "Wake up America!"
