
Tanisha LaVerne Grant a graduate of the nation's oldest HBCU Cheyney University of Pennslvania located in a suburb right outside of Philadelphia, will return to Philadelphia to cover the DNC July 25th-28th. Tanisha is a freelance multi media correspondent who got her start working in television at WCAU NBC 10 in Philadelphia.
Tanisha will provide live up to the minute coverage via social media, interviewing thought leaders, politicians, activist, and celebrities on the issues that directly affect the African American community. Tanisha's ability to ask well crafted questions keeps her at the forefront of large scale political spaces like the DNC. Tanisha has covered events including but not limited to the 70th anniversary of the UN General Assembly and the Academy Awards interviewing numerous celebrities and political leaders like media mogul Oprah Winfrey and founder of the Black Panther movement Kathleen Cleaver.
