CELEBRATE THE HISTORY OF FLIGHT
IT'S NATIONAL AVIATION DAY
This day is celebrated with the remembering of pioneers of flight. The Wright Brothers Orville and Wilbur. The national day was celebrated by proclamation given by President Franklin Roosevelt in the year 1939. The date was selected to honor aviators because it is also Orville's Birthday.
