Republicans Want To Cut $1 Billion From Disaster Relief To Pay For Trump’s Border Wall
Republicans in Washington are hoping that they can cut $1 billion from federal disaster relief programs in order to give Trump some of the funding he needs for his border wall. This is happening at a time when American citizens are drowning in flood waters from Hurricane Harvey – a natural disaster that will cost billions.
