Eventually the Democrats and faithless Republicans will be brought to their knees, because there is no way to fix the ACA. And you Ron will see there is nothing to be happy about. All you have gotten is short-term gain for long-term pain.

There is no way to fix the ACA. Trump won't sign anything short of a repeal of the mandates.

This we be his last term in office because he will not be working on the behalf of the American people.

You can always hope Ron, but the ACA won't survive that long. Even Schumer and Pelosi know that.

At the time of this report, Trump sounded like he had already given up on Republican health care efforts, to repeal and replace Obama care. Steve, that is not hope but THE FACTS in this case. This bill is (DOA) Dead On Arrival but the bill is too weak to reach the floor.

It's Dead, let it go.

President Trump has not given up on repealing the mandates. If he did he would lose in 2020 for sure, even his most loyal supporters like myself would not support him for a second term. He makes deals and he made one with America that he can't back down on. If he were to back down it doesn't matter, because it would mean America has reached the point of no return. But I have faith in what he said, he will let the ACA destroy itself berore he backs down.

and by doing that, will hurt more or even kill American people you would have a healthier life if his words continue the same course, "On The Road To Nowhere."

Steve, did you know that if this bill don't get a new life before Friday, the Senate will need 60 votes to pass this very same bill. Do you think they will have to votes?

If not, this bill is dead.

If you're that concerned Ron, talk to your senator and representative. That is in your power, but that's it until 2018 and 2020.

Your words Ron, GOOD!!!

Trump and the Republican Party needed to stop sabotaging the ACA and that was their last ditch effort. THAT BILL IS DEAD, GOOD!!!

I could not see why Trump wants The American People to pay more for our health insurance. Maybe because of the big banks would benefit from that move. That is the reason why Three Republicans joined all of the Democrats who did not let him get away with it, They stood for what is right. Trump's plan would have made all of us to pay more for our health insurance with Higher premiums.

I for one I' am glad to see this failure for Trump and the republican party in keeping the insurance companies from picking our pockets.

Steve, This lust for vengeance on the American people’s wallets and health care may seem unique to the pouty president, but it has been the prime directive of the Republican Party since the Affordable Care Act became law. What’s different is Trump’s willingness to crow about the health care sabotage that has become had party’s trademark move. Trump don't want us to know that he is still willing to work, behind the seen in not to pay the Nations Health Care Bills to the insurance companies.

After Senate attempts to repeal at least some of the Affordable Care Act plan went up in a poof of gray exhaust last week Trump vowed to “Let Obamacare implode,” which means continue the sabotage of the ACA that has been one of his administration’s few accomplishments. Then the commander in grief tweeted a threat to withhold the “BAILOUTS for insurance companies,” referring to cost-sharing reduction payments that reimburse insurers for services to low-income Americans that have already been rendered.

Is this what you want to see continue?

From what I can see is, without those payments, insurance premiums in the individual market can be expected to rise by 15% to 21%, according to the Kaiser Family Foundation. And in exchange for these higher prices, the federal government — also known as “WE” — would end up paying out billions more for coverage than is projected now, as the need for higher subsidies cancels out any benefit of stiffing insurers and this will be purely on Trump hands and not the rest of the Republican Party. This was a no win scenario.

Trump’s ACA sabotage, while unconscionable and perhaps unconstitutional, is still a better deal than what 94% of Republican senators voted for last week. It was fortunate that three Republicans joined Democrats to block it. But the real miracle is that 49 Senate Republicans were willing to back a “skinny repeal” would have left 16 million uninsured in 2018 and increased premiums by 20% each year from 2018 to 2026.

This was a bill so deplorable that even many of the Republicans voting for it said they didn’t want it to become law, yet it contained no “poison pill” that would have prevented it from passing it on as is to Trump, who is desperate for anything he can call a victory.

I also Thank Jimmy Kimmel for raising the nations consciousness of this deadly plan for many over this worthless health Care bill. Thanks Jimmy Kimmel, you sacrificed your late night show to keep this in the news up front and on topic.

When Trump fails to authorize the subsidies you can scream about it then. Now that we're stuck with the ACA he has no reason to.

The president previously has tried to use the threat of ending the cost-sharing payments as a means to force passage of a bill to replace Obamacare.

But just as he has done every month since taking office, Trump on Wednesday agreed to let them continue.

Trump to make ObamaCare payments for September

The Trump administration will make key ObamaCare payments to insurers in September, though a final decision hasn’t been made about future payments, a White House spokesman said Tuesday.

It is all in Trump's court now, isn't it. September is almost up!

It's not a concern Ron. Trump doesn't need to sabotage the ACA, it's collapsing all on its own. That's the inevitable result of socialism.
