This is what the Republicans in The House wanted to do for a moment,was to stop or derail this Trump - Russian investigation.

“We're very happy with the decision by the House Intelligence Committee saying there was absolutely no collusion with respect to Russia,” Trump said. "I understand they're going to be releasing hundreds of pages of proof and evidence. We are very, very happy with that decision." Donald J. Trump


I remember what was report in the first days of this house investigation when Devin Nunes ran to The White House to tell the President which way the Trump investigation was going. So, Trump has always had Devin Nunes in his right pocket and knew that he would not find nothing wrong and will not implicate Trump in nothing because he "TRUMP" is one of ours.
