GOP hurt by Donald Trump bungling in Democratic midterm victories

Rachel Maddow highlights some of the impressive Democratic gains in Tuesday's election results and points out how Donald Trump's clumsy political sense ended up hurting Republicans in several House races.

Republican Dean Heller a Trump pick lost his seat to Democrat Jacky Rosen as the people of Nevada spoke.

"It would be great for the Republican Party of Nevada, and it’s unity if good guy Danny Tarkanian would run for Congress an d Dean Heller, who is doing a really good job, could run for the Senate unopposed." - Donald J. Trump.

Both of these endorsement by Trump lost there races.

Now get this, In that 86-minute session with reporters and in a series of statements on Twitter, Trump claimed that Republicans had done extraordinarily well in the elections and had done so almost entirely thanks to him.

How can you make that claim when The Republican Part no longer control both houses?

The Republicans Lose Supermajorities In North Carolina General Assembly and in Michigan Democrats made Big gains on Election Day. WOW!!!
