She absolutely shut down the government Ron. The House had passed a bill that gave the President the $5.7 billion he needed, then Nancy came in and tore it up. Not only that, she cared nothing for the government workers whom she made suffer for 5 weeks, because all she can think of is dreams of power in 2020. Because I never agreed with him on that point. In other words he said he'd take the blame but he doesn't have that level of control over me to force me to blame him. I blamed the Democrats under Pelosi, and the voters who gave her control of the House. I BLAME YOU RON. Now last I checked the slate is clean, the government is open. And if you have not learned your lesson, which probably you haven't, then the Judges will decide the matter. In 2020 Trump will kick Pelosi's ass.

I have heard there was $50 million for the wall in this bill. What did he accomplish? He's not done Ron but I can tell you, this "bipartisan conference of appropriators" would not have happened but for the shutdown, and this shutdown also had to be tried before Trump goes the national emergency route.
