The Department of Justice held a farewell ceremony for Rod Rosenstein, who was departing his position as deputy attorney general. Attorney General William Barr as well as his predecessor Jeff Sessions were among those who paid tribute to Mr. Rosenstein’s work at the Justice Department. Mr. Sessions specifically commented on Mr. Rosenstein’s handling of the investigation into Russian involvement in the 2016 election, and his turning over of that investigation to Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
