Platinum Radio Network - Dr. King's "Beloved Community" Vision (899 hits)

On the eve of this year's Celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Holiday we reflect on the "Beloved Community Vision," a vision we are all aware of but, will it ever become A REALITY - "the imagination of people of "goodwill" all over the World - sharing the wealth of the earth."

When will "the critical masses of people of goodwill" begin to mobilized in-order to put the philosophy and vision into "ACTION" within our lives, and communities. Dr. King's vision today - continues to be just that a "vision." Yet we continue to have the same system that is the problem, are some would indicate in the way - bring in highly educated and distinguished individuals who share the same educated doctrines which continues to perpetuate the problem.

We are "ALL" aware and know the problem - in the conversation this year one panelist suggested that it is time to let our ICONS and those who paved the way for change "REST" - we also know the solution, yet we continue to share our research and statistics each year. However, when will we take ACTION - we all see - Poverty, Hunger, and Homeless - we know - Racism, Class, and s*xism - we want - Brotherhood, Sisterhood, and Love.

However, we live in a system that has existed for so long that we as a society are afraid of making the changes to right a system that needs a "total system overhaul," one that will probably never happen in our lifetime. But, we have the power to start the process NOW for our Future Generations.

Let's put the conversation to "REST" - it's time for the "critical masses and goodwill people" to begin the process in making the "Beloved Community Vision" A REALITY.
