Business Insider Reports, Defying Trump, Attorney General Barr says the DOJ and the FBI didn't discover any evidence of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election.
Attorney General Bill Barr said Tuesday that the Justice Department and the FBI had not uncovered evidence of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election.
"To date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have effected a different outcome in the election," Barr told The Associated Press.
Barr is the latest Republican official to break ranks with President Donald Trump over the president's allegations that substantial voter fraud led to an illegitimate election outcome.
The attorney general's statement is particularly significant given that he fanned Trump's conspiracy theories by baselessly claiming that foreign countries could tamper with mail ballots and contribute to a fraudulent election.

Two of President Donald Trump's lawyers, Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis, later rebuked Barr in a statement.
"With all due respect to the Attorney General, there hasn't been a semblance of a Department of Justice investigation," they said. "We have gathered ample evidence of illegal voting in at least six states, which they have not examined."

March 20: Clearly mischaracterized the FBI director and NSA director's testimony about Russian involvement in the 2016 election
Lie: Trump posted the above tweet just hours after FBI Director James Comey and National Security Agency Director Mike Rogers began testifying about Russian interference in the 2016 election in favor of Trump. Comey testified that the FBI came to believe that Russia was using “active measures” to hurt the Clinton campaign and help the Trump campaign.
“They wanted to hurt our democracy, hurt her and help him,” Comey said. “Putin hated Secretary Clinton so much that the flip side of that coin was that he had a clear preference for the person running against the person he hated so much.”
2. Feb. 16, 2017: Lied about winning the most Electoral College votes since Ronald Reagan.
Lie: Trump actually won 304 electoral votes, because two electors refused to cast their vote for him when the Electoral College met.
Several former presidents have also received more electoral votes than Trump. George H. W. Bush won with 426 electoral votes in 1988. Bill Clinton won 370 votes in 1992 and 379 in 1996, and Barack Obama won with 365 votes in 2008.
3. Feb. 12, 2017: Falsely claimed that Bernie Sanders was cut off from CNN for using the phrase "fake news."
Lie: During the interview, Burnett showed Sanders a clip of Trump responding to a reporter's question following news that Flynn called the Russian ambassador to the US before the inauguration to discuss previously-imposed sanctions. In the clip, Trump says he has "not seen the report."
4. Feb. 10, 2017: Claimed without evidence that "thousands" of people were bused across state lines to vote.
Lie: Officials at New Hampshire’s secretary of state office, US Attorney’s Office, and Massachusetts’ attorney general’s office told BuzzFeed News there was no evidence to support the president’s claim.
“We have not seen any evidence of busloads of out-of-state voters coming across the border to vote in New Hampshire elections,” David Scanlan, deputy secretary of state for New Hampshire, said.
5. Feb. 7, 2017: Claimed he was facing a historic delay to get all of his cabinet nominees confirmed.
The truth: Though overall Trump's nominees are getting confirmed more slowly than those of most previous modern presidents, he still hasn't been without a full cabinet longer than his predecessors were. Obama's final nominee wasn't confirmed, for example, until April of 2009, and both Bill Clinton and George H.W. Bush had nominees confirmed in March.
So while Trump's frustration in a slow confirmation process may be grounded in reality, his claim that this is "the longest such delay in the history of our country" is not.
6. Feb. 7, 2017: Lied that the murder rate was the highest in 45 years
The truth: The US murder rate is at close to an all-time low, and law enforcement experts say Trump's claim is so far away from the facts that it's ludicrous. Based on FBI statistics, the murder rate was 5.0 homicides per 100,000 people in 2015, down from a peak in 1980 of 10.2 per 100,000 people. The highest number of total homicides was in 1991, when 24,703 were killed. Though several US cities have seen the number of murders rise from 2015 to 2016, the overall number is still dramatically lower than what it was in the 1980s and 1990s.
7. Feb. 6, 2017: Claimed that terrorist attacks across Europe are "not even being reported"
The truth: The Paris and Nice attacks that Trump mentioned in his speech were extensively covered by every major US media organization.
Other attacks that have also received extensive media attention include an attack in Brussels in March 2016, as well as an incident in February 2017 at the Louvre museum in Paris in which a man attempted to use a machete and was shot by a soldier.
Trump provided no evidence of any other attacks that the media has not covered. He didn't mention any specific incidents, and BuzzFeed News was unable to identify any events that were ignored by major US media organizations. The Trump administration did not immediately respond to BuzzFeed News' request for a list of terror-related incidents that were "not even being reported."
8. Feb. 2, 2017: Lied that Kuwait had issued a visa ban on several Muslim-majority countries after his immigration order.
Lie: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressly denied the reports. In a statement to state-run news outlet Kuwait News Agency, Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs Sami Al-Hamad said the ministry “categorically denies these claims and affirms that these reported nationalities … have big communities in Kuwait and enjoy full rights.” Read more here.
9. Jan. 30, 2017: Lied that Delta, protesters, and Sen. Chuck Schumer's tears were to be blamed for the problems over his travel ban
Lie: The mass outrage and confusion at airports from Friday through Sunday was caused by Trump's executive order itself, which travelers, immigration attorneys, airlines, judges, and custom officials struggled to interpret. Delta's outage didn't happen until Sunday night, and no protesters interrupted the arrivals process at airports. Read more here.
10. Jan. 27, 2017: Lied about being in Scotland the day before the "Brexit" vote
Lie: In reality, Trump arrived in Scotland the day after the EU referendum, June 24, 2016, when the result was already clear.
11. Jan. 26, 2017: Lied that the murder rate is rising in Philly
Lie: The homicide rate in Philadelphia has been steadily declining over the past decade. According to statistics from the Philadelphia Police Department, there were 277 murders in 2016, compared to 280 murders in 2015. Over a five-year period, murders were down 19%. And over a 10-year period, murders were down 41%.
12. Jan. 25, 2017: Lied about two people being shot and killed during Obama's farewell speech
Lie: Chicago Police told BuzzFeed News there were no people killed by gun violence on Jan. 10. A log of shootings in the city also showed there were five non-fatal shootings in the city that day, but none occurred while Obama gave his speech.
13. Jan. 25, 2017: Lied about voter fraud on ABC News
Lie: Once again, not true. Trump references a debunked Pew study by a political blog hosted by the Washington Post. This is an old trick out of his playbook that Trump is still using to this day.
14. Jan. 23, 2017: Lied about voter fraud at a reception with congressional leaders
Lie: There is no evidence of widespread voter fraud. The National Association of Secretaries of State — which has a majority of Republicans — said it is "not aware of any evidence that supports the voter fraud claims made by President Trump." And in a Michigan legal filing by Trump's lawyers after the election, they wrote, "All available evidence suggests that the 2016 general election was not tainted by fraud or mistake."
This is not the first time Trump has claimed he would have won the popular vote if illegal immigrants had not voted. Almost 20 days after the election, Trump tweeted about the issue.
This is the most famous LIE Trump told was this one.
15. Jan. 21, 2017: Lied about inauguration crowd size to the CIA
Trump's words: The inaugural crowd "looked honestly like a million and a half people” adding that “it went all the way back to the Washington Monument."
Lie: Aerial photos of the crowd at 11a.m. and 12 p.m. — around the time Trump took the oath of office — show that the crowd witnessing the inauguration did not extend back to the Washington Monument.

Even during a pandemic, when the public needs to trust and rely on him the most, deception remains a core part of the president’s playbook.

Recently, journalists have taken measures to curb the spread of Trump’s lies and harmful recommendations to the public. Some news outlets, for example, have stopped airing his press briefings and others are limiting their coverage of him. This has never happened before in history but I happened on Trump's watch, right before your every eye's, Live, and In Living Color.
US President Donald J. Trump is not only a chronic tweeter, but he also, in most of the peoples’ eyes, is a pathological liar. According to a Washington Post fact-checker analysis report, Trump lied a staggering 16,241 times until January 19, 2020, during 1095 days of his presidency. With a lie rate of 14.81 per day, Trump has secured his place as the most notorious living liar on the planet. This also crowns him as the most lying head of any state.
Trump has a narcissistic personality
Trump is not only a pathological liar, but he is also declared to have a narcissistic personality by at least 350 top psychiatrists, mental health professionals and profilers across the country. The health professionals sign a letter to Congress claiming Trump’s mental health is deteriorating dangerously amid impeachment proceedings.
He is unable to take responsibility for any error, mistake, or failure. His default in that situation is to blame others and to attack the perceived source of his humiliation. These attacks of narcissistic rage can be brutal and destructive, said the letter.
The American people saw this and come January 20th, the people will show TRUMP the DOOR.
#1 Assassination of General Qassem Suleimani | Jan 2nd
With the start of the new year, one of Trump's lies almost started WW3. Trump ordered the assassination of top Iranian general Qassem Suleimani claiming he was orchestrating attacks against four US embassies. In response, Iran pounded a US airbase in Iraq with ballistic missiles. In spite of immense pressure from both democrats and republicans to show the evidence that Suleimani was posing an imminent threat, Trump and his administration has not only failed to show any shred of evidence but changed their claim many times over.
#2 ”No US Servicemen Injured in Iran Attack” | Jan 7
On January 7, Iran avenged the killing of Qassem Suleimani by pounding an airbase in Iraq that housed US troops with ballistic missiles. In his statement after the attack where he was seen quite nervous, Trump claimed US troops suffered no casualties and there was minimal material damage.
The Pentagon later confirmed that, in fact, 34 US troops suffered traumatic brain injuries. Reports also showed massive destruction at the airbase with many aircraft hangers and living quarters completely annihilated.
#3 ”China to Buy $50 bn of US Agricultural Products” | Jan 5
After a long tit for tat economic war between the US and China, the two countries finally struck the phase-1 of the trade deal in October.
Trump claimed that China has agreed to buy $50 bn of US agricultural products. The reality is, no such thing was written on the paper. When asked about Trump's claim, the Chinese commerce ministry said China will buy US products as per the market needs.
This man through his LIES almost started World War Three, WOW!!!! How many more days do we have before we can get rid of this Act?
