This bill is extremely reckless. The Congressional FOLKS act like they're playing a game, i.e. Monopoly.

Are you saying that the American people don’t need this relief money?

What was extremely reckless was giving tax breaks to the wealthiest people in America, Big business and I did not hear a damn thing negative come out of your mouth about that, WHY?

Now that a bill is being passed the help the working classes and you act like, this is a BAD THING, WHY?

Ron, you should watch the debate on the floor of the House at this moment and you wouldn't have to ask those questions.

Also Ron, this bill depends on your false religious belief about "the accident of birth."

Back to my question: "Are you saying that the American people don’t need this relief money?" The keyword in that sentence is "YOU!!!"

Steve, did you know that your grandkids will be getting a check? The most significant change is to the child tax credit, which will be increased to up to $3,600 (for children under 6) for 2021 from $2,000 per child.

Now let us talk about the here and the now because if done take care of the "RIGHT NOW" you won't have to worry about getting sick at heart thinking of your grandchildren and the way they will be living how be living after you gone because your grandchildren may not be here if they don't receive this stimulus money.

Now back to my question: "Are you saying that the American people don’t need this relief money?" The keyword in that sentence is "YOU!!!"

Ron, when I was younger and raising my own family I kept borrowing and borrowing, trying to provide for their "here and now", until finally I filed for bankruptcy. In the 30 years since I've managed to get by without any credit of any kind and my life has been the better for it.

If only it WERE a "relief" bill Ron. It's not even a "stimulus" bill, as you sometimes slip up and call it. It's a PORK bill and America needs it like it needs a hole in the head. The Democrats are evil muddafeckers.

Just look at you Steve, you can't even get your thoughts together without stooping to an all-time low.

Steve, don't you understand that parents will also receive $1,400 per dependent, instead of $600 in the first two rounds, and this third round of checks will include eligible adult dependents for the first time.

Child Tax Credit

Parents can also expect to receive money through the new Child Tax Credit, worth $3,000 per child ages 6 to 17 and $3,600 for children under age 6. The credit, based on taxpayers’ 2020 income, would normally be a lump sum on an individual or family’s income tax return but will instead be delivered as a monthly payment from the IRS for $250 or $300, depending on the child’s or children’s age, for a full year to help families affected by the pandemic.

The current child tax credit, from the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, provides $2,000 per child under 17 for single filers with incomes of $200,000 or less and couples filing jointly with $400,000 of adjusted gross income or less.

You don't call this stimulus bill helpful to American Families across this Nation?

Let's take a look at Trump's Tax Cut for the wealthy. Steve, I am sure you remember this:

In December 2017, Congress cut government revenues by passing a $1.5 trillion tax cut. The Republican Congress claimed the corporate tax cuts would benefit everyone because businesses would invest or use the tax cut to raise wages. Donald Trump tweeted “TAX CUTS will increase investment in the American economy and in U.S. workers, leading to higher growth, higher wages, and more JOBS!” (Emphasis in his original tweet.) The promise hasn't materialized. Even Fox News, in an August 2018 poll, found Obamacare to be more popular than the tax cuts.

But so far, the cuts have not been linked to an increase in labor share or more investments. The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago’s current capital spending index indicates private business investment plans have remained in negative territory since 2015. The most certain effect of the tax cuts has been to help fuel a massive increase in the federal deficit and debt. "The American people

So where is all the money saved from corporate tax cuts going? First, to companies’ bottom lines and second to stock buybacks, which were recently at a record high. So far, in 2018, the 500 corporations in the S&P Index have received $30 billion from the corporate rate cut, which in turn accounts for over 40 percent of S&P equity earnings growth.

Steve, you can see what the wealthy did with public tax money and they never did come back to help the working-class Americans. You never did say ONE WORD against what TRUMP did. Now Biden's bill will help the middle and lower class worker, put money in your pocket, $3,600 for children under age 6, a Child Credit and now here you come with this objection for help from your Government!

Steve, are you a RICH Business Man that brings home $150.000 or better?
