I would agree. The wage is kept artificially low to control by misery. https://www.nelp.org/wp-content/uploads/Fa...

That is the plan to keep middle and lower class people at one another and the rich stay rich. Thanks, Reginald for your input and we both know that The 21 States Stuck at $7.25 is to low to live on.

You need to thank the rich for your iPhone. You can't do anything better than minimum wage, whose fault is that. Not the FOLKS that gave you your iPhone.

I used "you" in the sense of "one". You know that Ron. Nobody kept YOU at minimum wage, did they? My first job after I quit high school was at minimum wage, $2.25. I was 17 and minimum wage was totally irrelevant after that first month or two. So why are you crying about minimum wage Ron?

Do you thing $7.25 an hour is enough for a family of three to live on TODAY?

For a eight hour day, the head of household would make.... $58 a day before taxes. For two weeks, working 5 days a week will net you before taxes $580.

Can you really afford to live like that?

So work for more than minimum wage. The jobs market is booming Ron. Opportunity abounds.

Those are the jobs The Republicans are saying they want to cut back on the stimulus bonus check because those are the jobs people are NOT taking. $7.25 is along way from $15.00 an hour.

Steve, which job would you take, the one paying $7.25 or a job paying $15.00 an hour?
