The Politico/Morning Consult poll found Harris had a 47 percent unfavorable rating from the respondents, compared to the 45 percent who had a favorable opinion of her, and 5 percent who said they had no opinion of the vice president.
In the same poll, 52 percent of people who responded said they had a favorable opinion of Biden, while 45 percent said they had a negative one, and 3 percent had no opinion. (Two percent in the poll said they had never heard of Harris, while everyone indicated they had heard of Biden.)
Harris' rating, however, does fall within the margin of error, which was listed as plus or minus two points. The Politico/Morning Consult survey was conducted from July 16 through July 18 and included the opinions of 1,997 registered voters.
Another recent poll from The Economist/YouGov had similar findings. That survey taken from July 10 through July 13 of U.S. adults found 44 percent of respondents said they had either a very or somewhat favorable opinion of Harris, while 48 percent had a very or somewhat unfavorable opinion of her
