New second abortion accusation emerges as Herschel Walker scandal widens: NYT Raw Story - By Bob Brigham The Herschel Walker abortion scandal that began in The Daily Beast on Monday expanded on Friday when the woman spoke with The New York Times. "A woman who has said Herschel Walker, the Republican Senate nominee in Georgia, paid for her abortion in 2009 told The New York Times that he urged her to terminate a second pregnancy two years later. They ended their relationship after she refused," the newspaper reported. "In a series of interviews, the woman said Mr. Walker had barely been involved in their now 10-year-old son’s life, offering little more than court-ordered child support and occasional gifts." Remember Steve, He also grew-up seeing what his father Herschel Walker did to them as well. I quote: “You’re not a ‘family man’ when you left us to bang a bunch of women, threatened to kill us, and had us move over 6 times in 6 months running from your violence,” Christian Walker wrote of his father on Twitter.
Feuding among family can be a source of embarrassment for any political campaign. But what unfolded in Georgia this week was extraordinary for the level of indignation so forcefully and publicly aimed at a candidate by his child at such a crucial campaign moment.
