
Martin Luther King Jr.'s 'I Have a Dream' Speech Full Text and Video

April 4, 2018, marks 50 years since the assassination of American civil rights activist Martin Luther King, Jr. The reverend, who was shot and killed in Memphis, Tennessee, is remembered for many of his actions, including his famous "I Have A Dream" speech.
King Jr.'s speech, uttered from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial on August 28, 1963 during the March on Washington, is one of the greatest orations in American history, according to an analysis by Presentation Magazine. The message it purveyed is that all men are created equal.
