Since her early days at Disney Channel, fans thought they were pronouncing Raven-Symoné’s name correctly.
The 37-year-old actress took to her TikTok account on Friday (Jan. 20) to set the record straight. She captioned the video, “Yo, that’s Raven-Symoné. It’s pronounced See-mon-ye.”
Using the TikTok sound that convinces someone of another person’s presence by saying “Shut up, it is not,” Raven says “yes it is,” as the pronunciation appears on the screen.
