Black history is American history. We must face facts, face fears and face forward.

We isolate Black history, setting it apart from Americana. The 'Black history' we celebrate is essential American history, relevant not just for those of African descent but for all of us.

This basic logical syllogism captures the relevance of Black history, not just for some but for all.
