The Need for Unity (334 hits)

Recent events involving Jesse Jackson and Barack Obama. As well as Martin and Bernice King suing brother Dexter highlight the pressing need for unity. Willie Lynch is still alive and well. If Barack wins, some will use the victory to say that the struggle against racism is over. If anything our movement needs to be broader and more vigorous. The unfinished business of the civil rights movement is uplifting the least of those among us. Let's stop dogging each other out in public.
Self love will set us free.
