Stand Up and Face Me

27 years have gone and I am just facing the very first abuser. But what made the union great was that while he was serving a 10 year bid for stabbing another girlfriend he had, he told me that ten year bid was not just for her. That God showed him that everthing that he did to me when I was young was wrong. I gave him a date and he acknowledge, identify and apologize for everything he ever done to me.

That was like 3 buildings lifted up off of me. I had a friend tell me that he didnt realize that I was that strong. I didnt realize it either.
