Have you ever felt as if you're on the outside of yourself, watching different scenes of your life and who you are? Or how about this...Every single thought that you think, and every single move that you make, you begin to rip apart. You begin to analyze why you do what you do, or apologies for the thoughts that creep into your head. You begin to pray to God for the things you no longer want to think about. Pray for him to remove the things you no longer want to feel for. You genuinely want everything and anything that has the power to be a distraction, removed. Everything about you becomes magnified. And these are things that you've never paid much attention to before.
All pieces to who you are, and why you are, unfold. What has the power to affect you, as well as, what you have the strength to handle, is revealed. You know what or whom you need to stay away from and why. Once again, things you never paid attention to before, magnify.
Some of the things revealed about yourself brings you to tears. Others surprise you, a few confuses you, and many encourage you. But it all forces you to pay attention. You can't change what you don't confess. And you can't water a seed that you never knew was planted. I've realized that you can't be on a mission to be a better person, if you are not honest with yourself about who you are. Learn the things that cause you to lose focus, acknowledge the things that make you smile uncontrollably. What makes you feel less than, and what reminds you of your worth? What can't you help but laugh at? What makes you cry everytime? What are your weaknesses, and what do you have the power to control? Learn who you are, and Why you are, so you can be who you are with a genuineness unlike no other.
