Is he to good to be true? Surely better than McCain, but will he be better than Lincoln? So articulate and able to move the crowd. His actions seem almost holy. Very optimist to preach unity of christians, muslims, buddist, and jews. Sounds good to want to bring the U.S. together in union of blacks, whites, latinoes, and asians. But what is he really up to behind close doors? Sure he commits good deeds, have not you in your life. Does he just know of faith & God or does he really believe that jesus is son the God who died that all of us MAYBE saved.

Was John F. Kennedy or Ronal Regan or even Jimmy Carter suspect? Just a question.

I think everyone is suspect to me until proven innocent. These presidents I'm not fully familiar with but i'm sure i could find something to disagree with. Although, they have all contributed significant leadership skills to this country.

How do you know if anybody really believes that Jesus is son the God. Listen, only God knows the heart of a man. And I've long since determined that we all learn the behavior and lingo of being a Christian from the social exposure at church. I've decided that the one thing that's most difficult for folks to fake is how they treat others in their various relationships. You can't judge a Christian by how loudly or long they pray, how often or early they arrive at church, their ability to speak in tongues or how many times a day they say, "Praise the Lord!". I'm a preacher's kid, and I grew up exposed to so much hypocrisy. These are things we were taught not to discuss, but, for example, you get to hear and see so much. Like you hear a deacon cussing out another, a sister being counseled about her infidelity in the living room and so called "good members" calling on the phone while your family is at the dinner table cussing your father out because they thought his sermon spoke to closely about their situations. I volunteer in ministry, too, and I see hypocracy all the time. I am a Christian, but you probably wouldn't know it unless you were in relationship with me in some way, because I'm not impressed with the look and sound of Christianity. You know Satan, himself, knows the bible front to back, he shows up in people who wear crosses and put fish on the automobiles. Remember there were a lot of "Christian" slave owners and racists. I had a friend once, that would wear the long dresses for a couple of weeks because she was so "saved" and then fall off the wagon the other half of the month. Being a Christian requires a personal relationship with God and working on the purpose that he has called you to do. I don't know if O'Bama has been called to this purpose, but I don't think we're going to be able to tell by just looking. We'll have to see if he walks the walk. We do know he appears to have right relationship with his wife and children and his approach to politics seems to be inclusive and loving for everyone. But let's not put him on a pedestal. He's a politician. His heart is God's business.

Suspect, Sure he is, politics is a dirty game no one can deny that, but I am very willing to give the black man a chance, now if it was Little Wayne running for president I might think twice. I thought Colin Powel would have been a good president.Obama, Suspect, He’d better be suspect, or he’ll never win. He has got to get his hands a little dirty with them in order for them to trust him enough to vote for him. But I’m down for the brothers, all of them, consider me black to the bone and that’s black right on.

It is very interested to see that folks equate Barak as the Anti-Christ when one the roles that Christ fulfills is as a Savior, a Redeemer, and a entity of the most Supreme force in the university. I don't know about other folks, but I am not seeking to be saved, just to have an opportunity for the voice of my people to be heard and to gain democracy in a world that has a system that was set up to benefit White people. I feel to be a "Chosen One," and with all due respect, unless Barak can part the Red Sea, he is a man (with faults) that we are blessed to be in his time period and witness the greatness that he brings, but if we as Black people are going to be saved, it must start within.

He just may believe that all men are created equal ,to worship the God of their choice. He would be a dictator if he tried to force his belief on others.

He's a politician who wants to get elected. Even if he seriously means everything he says, Presidents don't run this country. He will either play ball with the powers that be or be neutralized. I often wonder if he really believes he can do all the things he says or if its just "elect me" talk. At any rate, they have been beating us over the head with this one and I'll be glad when its over.

Here Irma goes again with the HISTORY lesson(smile)Knowing how and why the Black vote protected JFK from the "first" barrier problems and would have joined the Black community to keep him there, I could not do so. He was killed before I can cast my first vote as the age then was 21. The 'voters' were against Kennedy because he would be the first Catholic and the voters feared the influence the P-O-P-E would have on us in America. With this, do any of our youth out there understand why the only living child of JFK herself calls Barack H. Obama the one to carry on for her father and Dr. King? First this time is fighting for Obama to go to a church that teaches Black history in order to keep our true ties to Africa as a proud people then and now.Back then we put civils rights of the Black race above religious prejudices. All those like me and me ask is to look to the African-American study departs of today for your education and not the mean stream media. We are individuals and are not all on drugs, in prison nor school drop outs, PROVE it to them as individuals!!!! I am so proud of how our youth are doing just thisin their generation as they are doing. Today it is not the streets, but your use of the internet superhighway. Thank you and may God bless you and the non majority religons like the one I belong to.Not Muslim but just as hated due to this lack of education of INDIVIDUALS...
